Dacia has revealed the new version of the Duster. To clear the confusion, we would like you to know that Dacia is the Romanian subsidiary of the French carmaker Renault. The new model of the Duster, as we all known in the Indian market will be revealed on the 12th of September in the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 2018 Duster gets many design changes and it also gets a new colour option- Atacama Orange. As we look at the front end of the compact SUV, one can notice that the grille extends towards the headlight. Due to which it gives the car a wider appeal. Whereas it also get new lighting system, which includes a LED DRL which is divided into 3 sections. The crease lines which move horizontally to the bonnet gives Duster a muscular look.
As we move towards the side profile of the 2018 Duster , the first thing one will notice is the higher belt line. The windscreen has been brought forward upto 100mm, as compared to the previous version of the Duster. Renault is providing new set of 17-inch alloy wheel, which enhances the tough look of the all new Duster.
Coming to the rear end of the Duster you will be taken back, as it appears all new. It gets the typical lighting of Dacias signature theme. This design consists of 4 red tacked squares and it gives the Duster’s rear end a funky and modern look. If you look under the hood of this Compact SUV there is not much of mechanical changes.
Post the debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the 2018 Duster will go on sale in some specific European markets at the start of 2018. Renault may showcase this car at the the 2018 Auto Expo in India. But the interesting part is when will they launch this compact SUV in India? As of now Renault has teased the Captur on their website. The Captur is being produced on Dusters platform, hence the launch of the all new Duster could be delayed in India.
