The Stuttgart gang launched the 911’s most hardcore version in India today with a price tag of 3.88 crore ex-showroom India, which is just the base sticker price of the car. Like all porkers, it comes with a plethora of options and customizations.
Weissach package, which drops 30kg off the gross weight, will also be available as an option along with the normal Clubsport package. The 911 GT2 RS is the most outmost version of 911 available, which is also limited in production.
The car which was showcased in the prestigious 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed has received numerous rave reviews since its advent. The car is powered by a 3.8-litre, inline six motor which sends 700ps and 750Nm to the rear wheels. 100 comes up in 2.8 seconds along with a top whack of 340 kph, thanks to Porsche’s famed active suspension management system, 7-speed PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplungs Getriebe), and launch control. The figures are more associated with a modern day hypercar than a supercar.
Porsche introduced the GT2 moniker with the 993 Porsche 911, followed by the 996 which gave birth to the more track-focused hardcore version -GT2 RS. The second generation of GT2 RS is one of the most powerful and purpose-built cars to come out of Stuttgart. The GT2 RS also happens to be the fastest production road legal car around the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife.
