The first teaser video of the upcoming next-gen Verna from Hyundai is released. This sedan from the Hyundai lineup is expected to be launched in August 2017 and the bookings is going to open soon.
The next gen Verna is based on the Hyundai’s Fluidic 2.0 philosophy. Most of the design is taken from the Elantra, like the projector headlamps with signature LED DRL’s, trapezoidal chrome-lined grille, new LED tail lamps and it will also be equipped with a dual-tone bumper with reflectors.
As the new Verna is already launched in the Chinese market we can compare it with the current gen model. On the inside of the next gen Verna shares a lot from the Elite i20. The climate control unity and the steering wheel is similar to the hatch back. While it is equipped with Hyundai’s latest 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which is located in the center and beside it there are two vertical AC vents.

Engine and Specifications:
Under the hood of the next- gen Verna is the same 1.4-litre petrol, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel and 1.6-litre diesel, but it will have a choice for 5-speed and 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
