Datsun has launched a limited edition model both for the Go hatchback car and the Go+ MPV. This model is called the Remix Edition and it is priced at Rs 4.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Go and Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
Aesthetically, the Remix Edition models gets new finishes such as dual tone black and orange paint scheme and a monotone Storm white paint scheme for the Go. While the Go+ get white, black and orange dual tone highlights with the silver paint scheme. In addition to this, Datsun has offered this limited edition model with a new rear spoiler, chrome finish exhaust tips, chrome highlights on the bumper, black finish front grille and black wheel covers.
Let's have a look inside and see what Datsun has offered the Remix edition model of the Go and Go+, shall we? Just as you step in the car one will first notice the piano black finish in the cabin. It also comes with new seat covers while the equipments are same as that of the T variant such as keyless entry and bluetooth compatible audio system. It continues to be equipped with follow me home headlamps, front power window, manual Air Conditioner, central locking and electric power steering.
Let's pop up the hood and look at what powers the Remix edition. Mechanically, there aren't any changes and both the Go and Go+ Remix edition models will be powered with the same 1.2 litre petrol engine. This engine is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission and produces 69 horsepower. All of this power produced is sent to the front wheels.
Datsun has launched this limited edition models to boost the sales of the Go and Go which have slowed down. As compared to the T variant the Go Remix Edition costs Rs 9000 more while the Go+ Remix Edition costs Rs 6000 more.
