Bookings for the 2108 Ford Figo Aspire facelift has officially commenced ahead of its launch, which is set to happen on October 4th. The booking amount is set at RS 11,000 and the car can be booked through MyNewCar India or any of the authorized Ford dealers.

The overall body shape remains unchanged while cosmetic changes are limited to the front and rear of the car. The front part of the sedan now uses a new bumper design which is similar to the design language of the Ford Freestyle. The grille now features a honeycomb pattern clad in chrome. The headlights will feature a DRL setup, although there will be no changes to the design of the unit. The 15” alloy wheels now come with a new multi-spoke design theme which is contrary to the old design.  The cabin will see some bits and pieces from the freestyle like the new floating touchscreen infotainment system which also comes with Microsoft Sync 3 connectivity. The black-beige colour scheme will also remain unchanged from the pre-facelift model.

Although Ford hasn’t officially confirmed any information about the engines on offer, we believe that the aspire will use the 1.2-litre three-cylinder dragon series petrol engine from the Freestyle which makes a healthy 94 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. The diesel will be the existing frugal unit that makes 99 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. The 5-speed manual transmission will be offered with both the engines, but the choice of an automatic transmission is yet to be confirmed. Ford might stick with the dual-clutch unit or replace it with a more conventional torque converter unit.

The Figo Aspire Facelift will be priced at Rs 5.82-8.79 lakh for the petrol variants and Rs 6.93-8.56 lakh for the diesel variants, ex-showroom, Delhi. The car will also be available for booking through MyNewCar India along with some attractive benefits and offers.
