Just before the official launch of the Ford Freestyle, this Compact Urban Vehicle has been spotted at a dealership. There isn't any official date announced yet from Ford, but we are expecting them to launch the Freestyle somewhere after the mid of April 2018. Booking will start some weeks before the launch and we expect it be around the 1st or 2nd week of April 2018.
Based on the images leaked, we come to know that the Freestyle has already started reaching dealerships. The Image above is the top spec trim of the Freestyle and it is the Titanium variant with a shade of silver. In addition to it, the top spec Freestyle gets blacked out front mesh grille, smoked dealing unit, new design alloy wheel, blacked out ORVM’s and black colour cladding all over the body.
While the leaked interior images shows that the Freestyle Titanium variant will be equipped with Ford’s SYNC 3 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition to this, it also gets black and beige interior colour scheme and climate control. Talking about safety features Ford is equipping the Freestyle with twin front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard in all its variants. It will also come with TCS (Traction Control System), ARP (Active Rollover Prevention), Electronic Stability Control and EPAS.
The Freestyle will come with two engine option such as the 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol engine which produces 94 bhp of power and 120 Nm of torque. On the other hand it also expected to be powered with a 1.5 litre three cylinder diesel mill that generates 100 bhp of power and 215 Nm of torque. Both the engines will be coupled with a five speed manual gearbox.
