The Ford Freestyle is India’s first Compact Urban Vehicle (CUV) which is based on the Ford Figo. Ford is ready to launch this car and when launched it will be placed below the New EcoSport in the Indian market. Ford has started with the pre launch bookings of the Freestyle and here we bring to you variants the Freestyle has been offered with.
The Freestyle as we said is based on the Figo which has crossover like styling which has been placed over the frame of a hatchback. Ford has offered the Freestyle with a new design bonnet, claddings all over the body, New design blacked out front grille, a skid plate at the front, roof rails and bigger and wider tyres on the R15 alloy wheels. Ford is offering the Indian customers to choose from six mootone colour options for the Freestyle and they are- Canyon Ridge, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, White Gold, Oxford White and Absolute Black. In addition to this, as accessories, Ford is offering a wrap for the roof and body strips.
Speaking about the variants, the Ford Freestyle will be available in four trim options- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+. Each of these four trims will be available with both the petrol and diesel engine.
Ford is offering the base variants (Ambiente trim) with front dual airbags, three point seatbelts and ABS with EBD as standard safety package.
In Terms of features, the base variants also get reverse parking sensors and rear fog lamps, power windows at the front with drivers side auto down function, 12V socket, keyless entry. In addition to this it also gets adjustable headrests for the front two seats and day and night rearview mirror.
The Trend trim which is the mid variant gets an additional rear-view camera, and along with rear fog lamps as seen on the base variant, the mid variant gets front fog lamps along with this. In accordance with the safety package, the Freestyle Tren trim gets additional Hill-start Assist, ESP and traction control as a safety package.
The Tren trim gets all four windows, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports USB and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition to this, it also gets steering mounted audio controls, tachometer with a gear shift indicator also a boot light.
Titanium and Titanium +
Moving towards the top variants of the Freestyle, the Titanium and Titanium + trims gets gets additional four airbags making a total of six airbags and an Emergency Assist system.
The Top spec trims gets a hosts of modern technology and features such as the follow-me-home headlamp unit, automatic climate control, push button start and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVM’s. In addition to this, this trims also comes equipped with automatic headlight unit, rear wiper and washer, and Fords own SYNC3 infotainment system with voice controls and it is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
