Honda launches new edition for the WR-V crossover series. This new edition is named a ‘Edge Edition’ and it will be available in both petrol and diesel mills. The Edge Edition is based on the mid variant ‘S” trim of the WR-V. The WR-V Edge Edition petrol is priced at Rs 8.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the diesel mill costs Rs 9.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Let's have a look at the changes at the outside offered for the Edge Edition WR-V. shall we?
Aesthetically, this special edition WR-V gets a new design five spoke alloy wheel. In addition to this, the customer can get white paint finish for it with an additional amount of Rs 4000.
Let's also take a look what Honda has offered inside the WR-V Edge Edition. While there aren't many major changes but looking at the features it comes equipped with a rear-view camera with rear parking sensors. The video is displayed on the inside rear view mirror of the car. Customers will be provided with Honda’s Connect app as standard with this model.
There isn't any changes to the mechanical part and Honda powers the WR-V Edge Edition with the same 1.2 litre petrol engine. This mill is coupled with five-speed manual gearbox it produced 90 horsepower. On the other hand, it also gets the same 1.5 litre diesel mill which is also mated with a five speed manual transmission and this mill produces 100 horsepower.
As compare to the normal S trim on which the Edge Edition is based on, the prices are more than Rs 20,000. But if you compare it with the top spec trim the VX trim, the Edge Edition is
The WR-V Edge Edition is more than Rs 20,000 dearer than the base S trim. With the introduction of the WR-V Edge Edition, Honda aims to further boost the sales of this crossover in the nation.
