It's Been a couple of months in 2018 and Hyundai has unveiled the 2018 Santa-Fe. The new Santa-Fe gets a whole new avatar courtesy to the aggressive styling and bold look.
Just have a look at this SUV, the new Santa-Fe is more bolder and massive than its predecessor. Hyundai is offering this car with a LED headlight unit as standard across all its variants and the headlight unit also gets a twin projector setup. The front end gets Hyundai's new signature cascading grille, wide air dam at the centre and a skid plate with plastic cladding. Moving over to side profile, one will first notice the dual tone alloy wheels, this gives a perception of a two-tone design. In addition to this, it also gets new ORVMs with indicators integrated to it.
Just like its predecessor model, the interiors of the Santa-Fe have been amazing. Well, now the interiors have also been upgraded and it now comes equipped with a 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is compatible to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin is now bigger and more spacious thus providing utmost comfort. It also gets new one touch slide and folding system for the second row so that the passengers can have easy access to the rear seats. To charge your smartphones it comes equipped with a Qi-standard wireless smartphone charger and the top trims come equipped with a new heads up display .
Let's pop up the hood. Powering the new Santa-fe is 2.2 litre diesel mill which is capable of churning out 195 bhp of power and 436 Nm of torque. It will also get a 2.4 litre petrol mill and 2.0 litre diesel mill that once powered the Santa-fe in India. In addition to this, the 2018 Santa-Fe will also come equipped with a AWD system and also an option eight speed automatic gearbox.
The Santa-Fe was discontinued last year due to drop of sales and after the new GST norms the sales even fell down. With the launch of the new Santa-Fe, Hyundai can still get hold of the SUV market in India.
