Speaking about the technical details, the 1.4 litre Multiair petrol engine produces 160 bhp of power and 250 Nm of twist, while on the other hand the 2.0 litre MultiJet ll diesel engine produces 170 bhp of power and 350Nm of twist. When launched it didn't get the automatic transmission, but just as the demands increased Jeep introduced an optional automatic transmission for the petrol mill only.
Standard features on the Jeep Compass across all its variants includes front dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
