Maruti has now pulled out the covers over the Baleno Limited Edition. This will mark the company's introduction of the third limited edition model for this years festive season. Recently, Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Swift Limited Edition and the Ignis Limited Edition, with this now even the baleno joins both these hatchbacks.
The Indian car manufacturer has offered the Limited edition Baleno with a few cosmetic changes on the exterior as well on the interiors in accordance with the standard model. These changes include the a body kit which includes front skirts, side skirts, rear skirts and some side body moulding dipped in a contrast of grey.
The interiors come with a dual tone seat covers which also gets quilted design on it. In addition to this, this special edition model gets 3D floor matts, smart key finder, cushions and illuminated scuff plates.
Powering the Limited Edition baleno will be the same powertrain which is seen on the standard model, hence there won't be any mechanical changes. The petrol version will powered with a 1.2 litre unit that is capable of producing 83 horsepower. Whereas under the hoof of the diesel version will be the 1.3 litre unit that generates 75 horsepower.
In terms of the price tag, Maruti will most likely offer the Limited edition Baleno with a hike of Rs 35,000 in comparison with the standard model. In the Indian market, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno locks it horns with the Hyundai i20 and the Honda Jazz.
