When it comes to cars in India Maruti-Suzuki is the ruler, it is the most loved and prefered car brand especially for the middle class family. This Indian manufacturer is the most famous because of its brilliant after sale value, pocket friendly maintenance and wide spread of service networks.
Recently in the mid of 2017 Maruti launched the Dzire and it has become the No. 1 selling sub compact sedan in India. According to the recent sales figures, Maruti has sold 30,934 units of the Dzire only in the month of August in India. These sales figures include both the previous generation ( T-permit cars ) and the new generation Dzire ( private owners ), this has set a new record for the Indian manufacturer.
The third generation Dzire was launched in May 2017 and has caught many eyes. The Indian manufacturer offers projector headlamps with LED DRL’s, dal airbags, ABS, EBD and brake assist as standard in all its variants of the Dzire.
Under the hood of the Dzire are two engines - 1.2 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine which produces 82BHP of power and 113 Nm of torque and it also gets 1.3 litre 4 cylinder diesel engine which chunks out 74 BHP of power and 190 Nm of torque. Both the petrol and diesel engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual and automatic gear box. The AMT gearbox is only available as an option.
