Few days ago, Maruti Suzuki launched the 2018 Vitara Brezza. This compact SUV now gets an AMT gearbox. Well, now the Indian car manufacturer has also introduced a new model in its MPV segment. This new model is called the Limited Edition Ertiga and it has been launched at a starting price of Rs 7.80 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
The Limited Edition Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is based on the V trim which is the mid variant of the standard Ertiga. Yes, the Limited Edition Ertiga will be powered with both the petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine model is priced at Rs 7.80 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi), while the diesel engine model is priced at Rs 9.72 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). In comparison with the mid variant V trm of the standard Ertiga, the Limited Edition ertiga is costlier by Rs 13000 to Rs 14000.
Aesthetically, the Limited Edition gets chrome finish on the fog lamp bezel at the front. While on the sides, it also gets chrome on the side moulding and moving towards the rear, it gets Limited Edition Badges and spoiler to give it a sporty look. In addition to this, Maruti Suzuki is offering three new paint shades only for this model and they are: Exquisite Maroon, Silky Grey, and Superior White
Let's step inside and have a look, shall we? Well on the inside, Maruti Suzuki has offered this Limited Edition ertiga with anew dark red colour seats and it also get white borders. In addition to this, it also gets dual tone steering covers, ambient lighting in the cabin, armrest at the front and faux-wood inlay on the centre console.
Mechanically, there aren't any changes and the Limited Edition Ertiga is powered with same petrol and diesel engines that power the standard Ertiga. The 1.4 litre petrol engine produces 92bhp of power and it is matted with a five speed manual gearbox and it also gets an optional four speed automatic transfer case. On the other hand, the 1.3 litre diesel mill generates 90 bhp of power and is only coupled with a five speed manual gearbox and it misses out on the automatic gearbox..
