Just as we entered 2018, Maruti Suzuki showcased the new generation Swift and officially commenced with the booking of this hatchback. In the following month, the Indian auto manufacturer launched the much awaited new generation Swift at the 2018 Auto Expo.
Just before the launch of the 2018 Swift, the bookings received were huge. Due to which the just within two months of the official commencement of the prebooking, the waiting period for this hatchback was announced to be three months. Just like the New Swift, the Baleno from Maruti Suzuki’s stable has seen much interest from the Indian consumers. The demand for the Baleno has increased and the waiting period for this hatchback is almost up to 3-4 months.
But now Maruti Suzuki has officially announced the recall of the Swift and Baleno in total of 52,686 unts. These are the units which have been manufactured on the 1st of December 2017 and the 16th March of 2018.
