In the recent years the demands of SUV’s in the Indian market has been booming. To meet the demands and making these SUV’s more accessible to the masses, many auto manufacturers have been launching Compact SUV’s in the Indian market. In the past months we have seen Tata also getting into this category with the launch of the Nexon and has taken the market by a storm.
But before the launch of the Nexon, the Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Creta and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza where dominating the Compact SUV market. Recently with the launch of the Tata Nexon, we have seen a growing fight between these four cars. To cope with the competition we saw that Ford has recently updated the EcoSport and so in the Creta.
Well, not falling back, even Maruti Suzuki has stepped in are in the process of updating the Vitara Brezza. Maruti Suzuki will be giving this compact SUV a mild update which includes certain safety features upgrade and new paint schemes. In addition to this, the Indian car manufacturer might also discontinue the LDI (O) and VDI (O) trims, this could be because both these trims used to offer ABS and front dual airbags and was not available on the standard trims. As of now, the upcoming Vitara Brezza will be getting the ABS and front dual airbags as standard across all its variants.
While the top variants, may get new exterior paint shades and black alloy wheels. It is rumored that as dark orange paint scheme has been sighted and it will added to the current line up. The updates is mostly be cosmetic on the exterior and interiors and upgradation of safety features, Mechanically, there won't be any changes and the Vitara Brezza will be powered with same 1.3 litre diesel mill which is coupled with a five speed manual transmission.
