Atlast Audi joins the big premium Petrol SUV fight with the Q7 40TFSI. Audi has priced this SUV with a new petrol engine starting at Rs 67.76 lakhs. The Audi Q7 was first introduced with the diesel engine in the Premium Plus and Technology Pack variants and now the petrol engine will also be available in both these variants. 

Similar to the diesel variants the petrol variants of the Audi Q7 will also be equipped with full LED headlamps and tail lamps, AUDI MMI infotainment system which also includes a floating display, multi zone climate control system and virtual cockpit for the instrument panels. These features will be standard in both the variants. 

Engine and Gearbox:

Powering the Q7 40 TFSI wil be a 2.0 litre, four cylinder, turbocharged   petrol engine. This engine will be matted with a 8-speed automatic quattro AWD system which will be capable of producing 249 BHP of power and 370 NM of torque. AUdi claims that the new Q7 will be able to reach 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and can reach max speed of 250km/h. The weight of the petrol engine is lighter than that of the diesel engine, thanks to the smaller petrol engine.

Rivals:
The AUDI Q7 40 TSFI will be competing head on with the  Mercedes-Benz GLS400 and the BMW X5 xDrive35i in the Indian market. But as compared to its rivals the Q7 has a smaller capacity engine.

Price:
As mentioned above the  Q7 40TSFI from AUDI will be available in both the Premium Plus and Technology Pack variants. Given below are the ex-showroom Pan-India prices of both these variants:

AUDI Q7 Premium Plus - Rs 67.76 lakhs
AUDI Q7 Technology Pack - Rs 74.43 lakhs
