Mahindra will launch its first electric sedan, e-Verito on June 2, 2016. This pure electric car was first showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The homegrown has now decided to launch the vehicle after showcasing the production ready version at this year’s Auto Expo.

As part of the deal, Dreamz Mynewcar will be delivering close to 400 Mahindra e-Veritos and E2os to the two firms, which plan to launch electric cab fleet services in next one year.
Mahindra e-Verito is powered by a 72 V 3-phase AC induction motor which gives an output 30.5 kW (41 hp) and peak torque of 91 Nm. The sedan is capable of a company-claimed top speed of 86 (+/-2) kmph. When driven with a light foot, the e-Verito has a total range of 100 km on a full charge. The automaker will introduce the electric sedan in three trims, D2, D4 and D6. The top variant D6 will feature fast charge mode, which replenishes the batteries in just 1.5 hours, while the lower variants will take around 8 hours for a full charge. Mahindra willl launch the e-Verito at an ex-showroom price close to Rs 8 lac.
