Tata launches another trim for the Tigor, it's the XM variants and is priced at rs 4.99 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi. TATA TIGOR XM costs 40,000 more than the entry level XE variant.

This trim will sit into the second chart and it placed between the XE and XT variants.

 

Additional Features:

So what does the tiago XM offer you? We have listed down the additional features with which this trim will be packaged. As the Tigor XM sits above the entry level XE variants, it gets all the features from it and it addition to that it will also be offered with LED fuel gauge, central loking, follow me headlamps, ORVMs which can be internally adjusted and this sub compact sedan will also be offered with an 2-DIN music system with mobile and bluetooth connectivity.

 

Engine and Gearbox:

Well lets see under the hood of the Tigor XM. Powering this sub compact sedan is a 1.2 litre petrol engine which produces 84 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. While diesel unit gets 1.05 litre engine which produces 69 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. Both these petrol and diesel power units will be matted with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the guys wanting an AMT gear box, well this option will soon be available. So the customers willing to buy the Tigor XM with an AMT gearbox, will have to wait for sometime.

 

Rivals:

The Tigor XM with the petrol mill competes head on with the Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Wagon R and the diesel mill competes with the  Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Swift and Hyundai Grand i10
