Toyota launches Etios Cross X-Edition in India, this new variant gets some revised styling as well some new modern features. The Toyota Etios X edition will be available in both petrol and diesel mills, which will cost Rs. 6.80 lakh and Rs. 8.22 lakh ex-showroom India.


Exterior:
Toyota dresses the Etios Cross X-Edition with a new colour of Quartz Brown. As one looks at the front face of the car, they will first notice the new black grille which gives a muscular look to it. While the front fog lamps which gets black bezels which blends nicely with the body colour to give the car a more appealing look. Moving to the side profile of the car, the plastic body cladding and wheel arches adjoining it are painted in the same Quartz Brown colour. In addition to this, Toyota also provides the X-Edition badges on the C-pillar of the car.  The only difference in the exteriors between the petrol and diesel variant are that, the petrol variant is offered with body coloured door handles and the diesel version is offered chrome on it. 

Interior:
Stepping into the Etios Cross X-Edition, the first thing you will notice is that interiors are revised and upgraded and it comes handy with many modern features. These upgrades includes a  6.8-inch touchscreen powered with Bluetooth and voice recognition system, black and grey seat fabric, reversing camera, carbon fibre trim on the dashboard, ISOFIX, keyless entry and electrical retractable ORVM’s. While the diesel variants get some additional features that the petrol variant does not get, such as the chrome gear knob, chrome strips on AC vents, steering wheel wrapped in leather and steering mounted controls

Safety:
Toyota has really worked on the safety features and has offered this car with ABS, EBD, front dual air bags, front passenger and driver seat belt with force limiter and pretensioner and it also comes handy with a driver seat belt warning  system. 

Engine Specifications:
Under the hood of the Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition is the same engine that the standard Etios is offered with. The petrol variant gets 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 79bhp of power and 104Nm of torque. Whereas the diesel variant gets a 1.4 litre, 4-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 67bhp of power and 170Nm of torque. Both the petrol and diesel engines will be coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission.
