Some days ago, the internet was taken back with a storm of leaked images of the Honda HR-V. Now Honda has released the first official image of this crossover. The updated HR-V is bound to make its debut on the 15th of February 2018  in the Japanese market under the badge name Vezel.

Let's have a look at the aesthetic changes Honda has done to the updated HR-V. The front fascia gets a new grille with a chrome bar on it and in the centre of it, a large Honda Logo is placed. It also gets a new LED headlight unit with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights in it and new design front bumper. While as we move to the lower part of the front bumper we can notice a pair of re-profiled fog lamps pods. The lower variant will be offered with halogen fog lamps while the higher variants gets LED fog lights

Interested to know about the interiors? Well, Honda hasn't released any images of it, but some media reports suggest that it will get an update for the entertainment unit and some upgrade to the safety features. These updates include a new updated infotainment system which gets features such as Android Auto Apple CarPlay and satellite navigation, while the higher trims will come equipped with safety and driver assistance systems (Honda Sensing).

So what will the power house under the hood? The Japanese Auto manufacturer hasn’t confirmed it yet, but we can expect the current range of engines to be carried over, such as the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre petrol hybrid, 1.8-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel mills.

So will India get the new HR-V? When will Honda get it to the shores on India? We are expecting Honda to get the HR-V to India and it may be launched anytime during the end of this year or in 2019.
