Nissan has designed the Kicks with a body structure called as GRAPHENE. According to Nissan this stands for Gravity-philic Energy Absorption and they claim that it helps absorbing impacts much better and also makes this SUV much safer. In terms of design, the Kicks measures 4383mm in length, 1656mm in height, 1813mm in width and has a wheelbase measuring 2673mm.

Aesthetically, at the front, the India bond Kicks gets a V-motion chrome grille, besides it are sweptback LED projector headlight unit and it also gets U shaped LED Daytime Running Lights integrated in it. The front bumper gets a dual time finish, it holds rectangular shaped fog lamp units and gets a scuff plate at the bottom centre. Moving towards the side profile of the Kicks, the eye catching element is the contrasting floating roof which holds the roof rails giving this SUV a more rugged look and it also gets shark fin antenna on top. The pillars are blacked out and so are the ORVM’s which get integrated turn signals. At the rear, Nissan has offered the Kicks with wrap around tail lamp units and dual tone bumpers which also gets the silver scuff plate at the centre bottom.

The Indian Spec Kicks will run on 17 inch machined five spoke alloy wheels. Around them are flared wheel arches. It is expected that Nissan will offer the Kicks with dual tone interior.

Nissan will most probably launch the Kicks at the start of 2019. Under the hood of the Kicks will most likely be petrol and diesel mills as options. Once launched in the Indian market, Nissan Kicks will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Tata Nexon, Jeep Compass, Ford EcoSport, etc.
