BS6 Mahindra Scorpio Launch

- The new BS6 version of Scorpio costs Rs. 60,000 more.
- The car comes accompanied with the same 2.2 liter diesel engine.
- BS6 Scorpio will be available in 4 variants, S5, S7, S9, and S11.
- Available in manual 5-speed and 6-speed configuration.
- No automatic or AWD option will be available for BS6 Scorpio.
- 2.5-litre and 2.2-litre (120ps) diesel engines are discontinued.
Mahindra has launched the BS6 version of Scorpio amidst the coronavirus lockdown. The lockdown has been extended to 17th may and the deliveries for the new Scorpio will start after the lockdown ends. Mahindra has made few changes to the Scorpio apart from the BS6 engine. Scorpio has updated its variant and price list.
Here is Scorpio Variants List with Price :
Mahindra has discontinued the base variant for the new BS6 version. The 120 ps, 2.2 liter diesel engine has also been discontinued Along with the automatic version and all wheel drive variants. Now, the Mahindra Scorpio is available In 4 variants, S5, S7, S9, and S11. The S5 has become the base variant with a price difference of Rs. 20,000. Other versions have a price difference of Rs. 60,000. The new BS6 Scorpio has a price range of Rs. 12.40 lakh-Rs. 16 lakh and will feature the same features namely, auto headlamps with LED DRLS, a rear parking camera, auto climate control and cruise control.
Engine:
The BS6 version of the new Scorpio will only be available with a 2.2 liter diesel engine that produces 140PS and 320Nm of torque. The Scorpio will come mated to a 5-speed manual (S5) and 6-speed manual only. No automatic or all wheel drive will be available for the new Scorpio right now.

The new Scorpio will be available in 4 colour options:
Pearl White
Molten Red
Napoli Black
Dsat Silver
Features:
The Scorpio will have the same features as before including, cruise control, auto AC, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, auto headlamps with LED DRLs, auto climate control, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and camera, ABS and speed alert. The car will have the same 7,8 and 9 seating configuration as the previous version.
Rivals:
The new Scorpio will rival with the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and MG Hector in the SUV segment.
