Car Sales Report - JULY 2020

Indian Car Sales Figures & Analysis - July,2020
The coronavirus pandemic had led to a slowdown in not only the auto sector but also in the economy of the nations. The auto sector saw a huge decline in sales during the lockdown period and gradually it is getting out of that slump as the lockdowns are eased.
In the current situation, people are giving preference to personal transport due to the vastly spread virus. As a result, the sales graph has increased with cumulative units dispatching from the factory. Now with all the manufacturers switching to BS6 engines, the cost of production for the engines have been increased due to the additional tech that goes into the motor. Also with strict emission norms and protocols, the new vehicles in the market are greener than before.
Though the production of vehicles has slowed down due to limited numbers of staff, automakers are trying their level best to expand their business by selling their vehicles on the digital platforms. New car launches and arrival of latest cars in India have made possible for the top brands to improve their car sales volume.
The sales figure has risen significantly by over 50,000 for this month compared to the JUNE 2020. Automakers are providing attractive discounts and offer on their various cars for attracting more customers.
