Hyundai Alcazar Images Leak, Engine, Dimension, Launch Info
Hyundai Alcazar 7 Seater - Engine, Price, Look and Configuration
Hyundai is all set to launch the Alcazar in India in the month of May 2021. Next month the car will be unveiled to the media and we will also get you our first look of the car very soon. But on the basis of the images leaked and the details we have gotten from dealer sources, the Alcazar would have quite a lot of difference from the Creta.
The Alcazar would be a different looking car from the Creta from the front with a different grille. The grille size would be the same but the design inside it would be different. Also the headlamp now meets with the grille unlike the Creta. From the side you can see the extended length and the addition of a small quarter glass. It will also have new alloy wheels. The big change would be the rear with a new tail-lamp set-up and a thick chrome bar connecting it. The rear window is also different along with the roof line. There would be new colours on offer too. The Alcazar would be longer than the Creta at more than 4.3m.
The interior as shown in the sketches would be similar to the Creta but the interior will have a new colour scheme and of course there would be tan coloured seats. The top-end Alcazar would have captains seats with a 6 seater lay-out while standard would be a bench with 7 seats. The second row would have more features including wireless charging pad and cup holders plus more. Of course it will continue with the Creta features like a panoramic sunroof and more.
The big change over the Creta is the addition of more powerful engines for the Alcazar. The Alcazar would have a 2.0l petrol engine taken from the Tucson and the Elantra with a manual and a 6-speed automatic on offer. It will also get the 1.4l turbo petrol with a DCT gearbox. It will also get the Creta like modes and paddle shifters. The Alcazar would also have a diesel engine of course with the same 1.5l unit.
The top-end Creta is Rs 18 lakh while the Alcazar would be much above that with a price-tag of Rs 19/20 lakh and maybe even more. The starting price would also be higher with the 2.0l petrol unlike the Creta which comes with a 1.5l engine.
