Which Alcazar SUV Variant to Buy - Prestige vs Platinum vs Signature?
Hyundai has finally launched the Alcazar and this time it has kept things simple with three trim levels and even the entry trim level is fully loaded with many features. Hence Hyundai says that there is no base variant as such with the amount of features on offer. So let us take a look at what variant of the Alcazar makes more sense to buy.

The Alcazar is available in three variants – Prestige, Platinum and Signature with prices starting from Rs 16.30 lakh and going till Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Prestige trim is the range starter and comes with a 2.0 petrol and diesel with both in manual form plus available in 6/7 seater option. The equipment levels are generous with LED headlamp, 17inch alloys, twin exhausts, dual tone interior colour, leather wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, voice controlled panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and start, remote engine start, tilt and telescopic steering, powered mirrors, climate control, wireless charging, rear armrest in 7 seater, rear centre console with wireless smart phone charger in 6 seater, rear window sunshade, USB chargers, cooled glove box, sliding and reclining rear seats,10.25-inch touch screen, Bluelink connected tech, steering controls.
This trim sits above and is available with the petrol AT and diesel AT but the petrol can be had with this trim in 6 seater form while the diesel is a 7seater.
In addition to above features you get an electric parking brake, air purifier, drive modes, traction control modes, paddle shifters.
This is the next level up and here the versions available with this trim are the 2.0 petrol MT with the 7 seater and the 1.5l diesel MT also with a 7seater. The additional features over and above are the extra four airbags, 360 degree camera, blind view monitor, 18-inch alloys, digital instrument cluster, leather upholstery, second row cushion, powered driver’s seat, Bose audio system.
This is available with the 2.0 petrol AT 6 seater and the 1.5l diesel AT as a 6 seater too. The features added here include a side foot step, drive modes, traction mode, paddle shifters.
Here you can get this trim with the 2.0l petrol MT and the 1.5l diesel MT both as six seaters. The added features include front parking sensors, dual tone colour and ventilated front seats.
The Signature (O) is the top level trim available with the 2.0l petrol AT and the 1.5l diesel AT with 6 seaters configuration. This trims has addional features like the side footsteps, drive modes, traction modes and paddle shifters.
All trims are excellent value with even the Prestige being equipped with a lot of features. That said, for the proper luxury experience you can go for the Platinum (O) that has a great combination of features and value.
