Maruti Suzuki Displays 17 Cars at Auto Expo 2020

India’s largest automobile manufacturer is all set to showcase its fleet of 17 cars this auto expo 2020. The 2020 auto expo will be held at Delhi from 6th-9th February 2020. Maruti-Suzuki always brings the best models and updates to auto expo and this time it will also showcase its green sustainable mobility and a new design language for the future utility vehicles. The 17- car lineup will consist of BS6 variants along with CNG and Hybrid vehicles, giving the green initiative a further boost.
Regarding this auto expo, Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India says, “The key highlight of the 15th edition of the Auto Expo is our resolve to bring greener technologies for mass adoption. As a Company, we have believed in bringing technologies that benefit the customers. Auto Expo 2020 is yet another opportunity for us to bring forth a vibrant display of vehicles. It reflects our efforts for the customers as well as environment and showcase Suzuki’s commitment to the Indian market.”He further added, “Maruti Suzuki’s theme of ‘Mission Green Million’, at the Auto Expo is in line with our commitment to introduce newer, greener and customer friendly technologies for the Indian customers. Having successfully introduced key technologies such as Auto Gear Shift, SmartPlay, Smart Hybrid, and S-CNG, we are committed to accelerate our efforts to bring new technologies that bring convenience to customers.”
Maruti-Suzuki lineups will be divided into four zones and will be decorated in the famous Japanese Origami art conceptualizing a Japanese theme. The Maruti Suzuki pavilion will be Spread over 4000 sq meters of area with distinct zones. Maruti-Suzuki will have 5 pop-ups which will have an Origami art inspired gate with structural LEDs to convey the brand story of the car on display. The entire Maruti Suzuki will keep its promise to be completely digital and paperless highlighting its commitment to go green in all aspects.

Facelifts:
Maruti-Suzuki will feature facelifts of popular SUVs like Maruti Vitara Brezza and Maruti Suzuki Ignis which dominated the SUV market for quite some time. Both the cars will be featuring a new BS-6 engine. Maruti Suzuki will also showcase the BS-6 version of S-Cross powered with petrol. The S-Cross displayed will most probably have the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that will also be featured in Brezza.

FUTURO-e CONCEPT:
One of the biggest projects by Maruti-Suzuki that highlights the green initiative will also be featured in this auto expo. The concept is a design study for next-gen mobility solutions. The FUTURO-e concept is a fascinating fusion of a coupe with a SUV. The concept will change the mainstream SUV architecture and is expected to raise the design bar of Utility Vehicles in India.

Other:
The other cars to be showcased will include, Celerio, S-Presso, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Ertiga, S-Cross, Ciaz S, XL6 and Japanese model of Swift Hybrid. The Japanese-spec Swift Hybrid comes with a10kW electric motor and has a fuel economy of 32kmpl. Maruti-Suzuki will also showcase fourth-gen Jimny this auto expo.
