New 2020 Honda City First Look Review

Introduction
This is the all new generation Honda City and by that we do really mean all new. The 5th generation City is due for launch soon and is bigger plus better while also getting a refreshed line-up of new engines. We will discuss that in detail below.
How does it look?
The City has become bigger. In-fact the new Honda City is now the longest and widest car in its class. Its length is 4549mm while its width is 1748mm. The height is 1489mm.
That makes the new City look nearly as big as the Civic. It looks much more premium now and a bit more like the Civic again. The all LED headlamps are easily the best part and they look stunning while the thick chrome grille is much like the Civic. There are also new 16inch wheels while there are bigger LED tail-lamps. The new City looks like it belongs to a higher class now.
What about the Interiors?
The interiors are much less radical now compared to the current City and look more luxurious. Quality is expected to see a big jump while there is a dual-tone beige and black being used in the cabin to good effect. There is a wood garnish and soft touch materials while you also get an 8inch touch-screen. There is leather used also.
In terms of space the new City is expected to be more spacious while it also wider hence three passengers at the back would be no issue while even the boot would be big.
What about Features?
Here is the big change as you get a lot of features in the new City. There is a big touchscreen with all the usual features like with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Weblink. A 17.7 cm HD Full Color TFT Meter with Multi-Function Driver Information Interface and G Meter. That is just the start as you also get an electric sunroof, auto headlamps, ambient lighting, push button start, rear sunshade.
The other big feature is that it gets an Alexa remote and is the first car to do so. It is also a connected car with 32 features. In safety it has 6 airbags, hill-start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, Honda lane-watch, rear camera and more.
Engine
The new City gets a new 1.5l petrol with 121 bhp while it has a 6-speed manual and an automatic CVT. There is also a diesel which has a 6-speed manual only with 100 bhp. The diesel gives 24 kmpl while the petrol manual gives 17.8 kmpl and CVT figure is 18.4 kmpl.
