Nissan Magnite Launch Details - Looks, Features, On-Road Price, Engine

Nissan would be launching its Magnite early next year and it would be the car that Nissan India is resting its hopes on after the Kicks failed to find any sales in the market. The Magnite would be a compact crossover and compete with the likes of the Sonet, Venue and Brezza amongst others while being positioned price wise lower than them to get market-share.
 

Nissan Magnite Looks

A near production version car has been spied which reveals that the Magnite stays true to the concept shown and would be quite striking. It would be more like a Kicks based design but will have a more aggressive look much like the Sonet and the Seltos. You can see the dual-tone colour on the car speed plus the LED lamps along with the alloys. There would be roof-rails, skid-plate and all the SUV-like details which you would want.

Nissan is also packing the Magnite with lots of features and giving the Venue and Sonet some tough competition in that regard. Hence expect a 360 degree camera, a big touchscreen, climate controls and more. 
 

Nissan Magnite Engines

To keep the prices in check and price the Magnite competitively the car will have a 1.0 petrol from the Triber at start while that would be paired to a manual and an AMT which is also there on the Triber along with being on Renault's compact SUV the Kiger. Upwards in the range the Magnite will have a turbo petrol too with a 1.0 unit which will have a CVT option also.
 

Nissan Magnite Price

Price is very important and Nissan will price it well under 6 lakhs, at Rs 5.5 lakh starting or lower! And much cheaper than the Venue or Sonet to get sales for the entry level 1.0 manual version. There would be no diesel Magnite though.
