Skoda Kushaq Features - Can it beat Creta?
The Skoda Kushaq has already made a lot of buzz for itself in the market ahead of its planned launch towards the middle of this year. The Kushaq is based on the MQB A0 IN platform and would have high localization levels to get competitive pricing. However, Skoda is also betting big on the features front with a healthy dose of features to compete with segment kings like the Creta and the Seltos.

Top Features of Skoda Kushaq;
Like the segment trend, the Skoda Kushaq gets LED DRLs at the front while it gets roof rails plus cladding along with a sporty rear diffuser. Top-end Kushaq variants will get 17 inch alloy wheels. The Kushaq also gets 5 exterior colours.
The Kushaq gets a 10inch free standing touch screen while it will have a navigation function which can be downloaded from the online Skoda Play App store. There is a Bluetooth Type A port for charging while it has Type C ports as well. The touch screen features a dual tuner, a Wi-Fi hotspot and an external microphone for hands-free phone calls. The system also has the Bluetooth standard 4.0. Smartphones can be paired and the app store accessed without the need for a cable using Wireless SmartLink.
There is connected car technology where the My Skoda app will get vehicle health reports plus give remote access etc. There is also climate control, leather seats, cruise control, ventilated and cooled front seats, an electric sunroof, steering paddle shifters, 6 speaker audio system and wireless charging. In safety the Kushaq gets six airbags, ESC as standard and Hill-hold along with tyre-pressure monitoring system etc
Kushaq Feature Comparison with Creta
The basics is similar to the Creta with a lot of features being present in both including connected car features, sunroof, turbo petrols, ventilated front seats and different engine/gear configurations. However when seen closer, the Creta has the bigger touch screen at 10.25inch and has more features with its BlueLink system. The Creta has further additions like an air purifier, digital dials, powered driver’s seat plus the big one being a proper panoramic sunroof. The Creta also gets more engine options with a diesel engine while the Kushaq has two turbo petrols vs the one found on the Creta.
