Taking a look at the dimensions of the car, the engine would be apt enough to do the duties but don’t expect performance like the turbo-petrol mills.
-
For the first time, S-Cross comes with an automatic gearbox. It gets the option of 4-Speed torque converter AT gearbox & the standard 5-Speed manual.
-
Moving on to the interiors, the feature list is almost the same as before but the new car won’t come with the base level ‘Sigma’ trim. The BS6 S-Cross will come in 3 trim options to choose from- Alpha, Delta, and Zeta.

Renault Duster was launched in India back in 2012 with a fair amount of features and power. Fast forward to 2020 with the beginning of BS6 rules, Renault is all set to put a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol mill under the hood of the car. We can prominently notice the Renault-Nissan alliance is surely making progress.
-
It is expected to have the same engine as the Nissan Kicks that produces 156 ps of power & 250Nm of torque. Transmission duties would be done by a CVT gearbox & a 6-Speed manual.
-
Duster being an 8-year-old car in the country still maintains the same overall body, Renault is just adding more and more facelifts for making the car look fresher.
-
Currently, the Duster is available with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol BS6 engine in 3 trim options. After the Duster Turbo is launched, Renault will continue to sell the 1.5L NA engine alongside the new Turbo-Petrol.
-
Pricing is expected to be under Rs. 13 lakhs. (ex-showroom).

-
The 2020 Jazz will only have a 1.2L petrol powertrain that would be BS6 compliant.
-
Presented at the Tokyo motor show back then, how similar the Indian spec car resembles is the question. Moreover, the new upcoming car was spotted on the Indian roads that had completely revamped interiors. There are no details of the exterior as such due to the camouflage but design tweaks and cosmetic changes are highly expected.
-
Once the Jazz 2020 is launched, it will go head to head with Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20.
-
Pricing of the Jazz is expected to start under Rs.10 lakh but might exceed for the top of the line ‘VX’ trim.

-
Toyota has finally entered the compact SUV segment with the Urban Cruiser.
-
After the launch of Glanza hatch under the Maruti Suzuki - Toyota collaboration, Toyota is all set to give Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza a new front end with redesigned bumper, grille and other minor tweaks
-
Surely there will be the ‘Toyota’ badge on the grille of the car adding to the reliability sentiment, the Urban Cruiser will get different Toyota colours and graphics but underneath, it would be the same exact engine and transmission.
-
Being a Toyota badged car, the brand would give better assurance on the durability of the car by adding warranty offers and services. The trim levels are expected to be ‘G’, ‘V’, ‘VX’.
-
Pricing of the car is expected to be similar to the Brezza considering both cars have the same foundation and base though an increase is expected.
