The second consecutive price hike in 2015 from Honda is surely a bad news for car enthusiasts across the country and they might have to postpone their purchase decision if price hike seriously affect their pockets. So far the quantum of the price hike has not been revealed by the company, however, Honda assigned similar reasons that it quoted for January price hike. Yes, company blamed the rising input cost and inflationary pressure for the second price hike in 2 months.
the Honda City has registered 6,709 units and 7,163 units in the month of January and February 2015 respectively. So , clearly people still bank on Honda’s golden boy even after having many options in the same segment .
In terms of last month’s sales, Honda did really well and managed to stand at 16% growth at 16,902 units sales in domestic market. As far as individual model performance is concerned, Brio stood at 1,397 units, City at 6,505 units and SUV CR-V at 140 units sales in India.
Now , will these figures go down ? it all depends on the amount by which Honda makes the increase .
