Both the 2020 Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos share their underpinnings but they do have some differences as well. Just like the petrol models, even the diesel models are powered with the same engine. The oil burner under the hood of the 2020 Creta and the Seltos is a 1.5 litre unit that is able to pump out 115 bhp of power and 250 Nm of twist. Also these engines are coupled with a similar transmission option - a 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic gearbox. Only difference here is that the diesel engine under the hood of the Hyundai Creta is tuned to be more fuel efficient by 0.5 kmpl when compared to the Kia Seltos.

The entry level variant of the Kia Seltos is almost cheaper by Rs 10,000 when compared to the Hyundai Creta. Where in top end variants the Hyundai Creta beats the Kia Seltos in terms of pricing.
