Top 5 Affordable SUVs in India Priced Under 7 lakh - 2021

Top 5 Best Cheap and Affordable SUV to Buy in India 2021 Under 7 lakh
The SUV was once considered very premium and they would normally be priced at a premium when compared to a compact sedan or a premium hatchback. However now it is no longer the case with compact SUVs being much more affordable due to the current rising competition plus of course the changing demand pattern.
Nissan Magnite 1.0
The Magnite is by far the most affordable compact SUV to buy in India with the disruptive pricing done by Nissan. While that is introductory, the Magnite is still the most affordable compact SUV since rivals start at over a lakh more expensive. Yet the Magnite is also a value for money offering with good looks along with having a decent equipment list. Even the engines on offer make it fuel-efficient and easy to use with the 1.0 petrol manual. Starting price- Rs 4.9 lakh.
Hyundai Venue 1.2
The Venue range starts with the 1.2 petrol with the 5-speed manual and that is the entry point of the range. However, that makes the Venue an accessible compact SUV. The Venue looks good as well as having the best quality interiors at this price while the feature list is the biggest as well. It may lack a bit of space but the Venue overall is a very desirable compact SUV for the self-driven. Starting price- Rs 6.7 lakh.
Tata Nexon
One of the best SUV choices and even if you are on a tighter budget, the Nexon has many variants that strike a very good balance between affordability and features. The Nexon has a very comfortable and spacious cabin with a big rear seat hence is practical while the feature list even on the lower or mid variants is good enough. With the facelift, it also looks good while the ride and handling are amongst the best now. Starting price- Rs 7 lakh.
Renault Kiger
Just like the Nissan Magnite, Renault will launch its own compact SUV in the coming months. To be called the Kiger, it is based on the same platform as the Nissan Magnite while also getting the same 1.0 and 1.0 turbo petrol but it will get a completely different styling and will also have an AMT option along with the CVT. Starting price-Rs 5 lakh (expected)
Tata HBX
The production version of the HBX would be launching towards the middle of this year. Tata Motors will also maintain the same rugged styling and the overall interior plus exterior details of the concept in the production-spec car. Tata Motors will also most probably launch the HBX with a 1.2l petrol engine and a manual gearbox only at the start. Starting price- Rs 5.5 lakh (expected)
