New Honda City Launched at Rs 10.9 Lakhs (P) & Rs 12.4 Lakhs (D)

Honda has launched the new generation City in India. This is the fifth generation Honda City being launched in India and for the first time the new and old City would be on sale. The new Honda City is available with both diesel and petrol engines.
 

About New Honda City 2020

The new City gets an all new platform and is also bigger plus wider. Honda claims the new City is the biggest in its class. There is a new 1.5l petrol and a 1.5l diesel. The diesel gets a manual only while the petrol adds in a CVT automatic. 
 

Features

We have earlier talked a lot about the features of the new City here. However we will say again that it now gets a part digital new instrument cluster, a bigger touch-screen, Honda Connect, rear view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system plus the lane-watch feature from the Civic. The new City is the first car to have an in-built Alexa remote too. Of course it also gets the usual features like sunroof which is expected of cars of this price.

Prices &  Variants

Honda is packing value and the new City gets three trim options with V, VX and ZX. All trims are well equipped as Honda is even giving the Alexa remote feature on the entry level V variant.

The prices start at Rs 10.8 lakh for the V manual petrol to Rs 13.14 lakh for the ZX manual petrol. The CVT petrol starts at Rs 12.19 lakh and goes till Rs 14.4 lakh. The diesel starts from Rs 12.3 lakh and goes till 14.6 lakh. Booking amount online is Rs 5,000.
 

Rivals

The new Honda City will rival the likes of the new Hyundai Verna, current Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Rapid and VW Vento.
