Maruti-Suzuki Vitara Brezza Overview

At the launch event of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mr. Randhir Singh Kalsi (Executive Director-Sales and Marketing- MSIL) said, "Unchi is the new lambi.” That actually describes the obsession of Indian customers for the SUV and compact SUV segment, which now enjoys the same status & desirability as long sedans did at one time. In India, the compact SUV segment is fairly new which up until now had the monopoly from Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster & Hyundai Creta. But now, this segment is challenged by India's leading carmaker and the impact is already visible as Ford has slashed the prices of EcoSport by Rs. 53,000 to 1,12,300 (depending on the variant). As of now, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is offered only in the diesel fuel trim but we can expect the Japanese carmaker to soon bring the petrol variants. The mini SUV is launched in 6 variants LDI, LDI (O), VDI, VDI (O), ZDI and ZDI+ in 9 expressive colours, namely, Blazing Red, Blazing Red with Midnight Black Roof (Dual Tone), Cerulean Blue, Cerulean Blue with Pearl Arctic White Roof (Dual Tone), Fiery Yellow, Fiery Yellow with Pearl Arctic White Roof (Dual Tone), Granite Grey, Pearl Arctic White and Premium Silver. Mynewcar’s recommended model is ZDI as other variants lack most of the safety and comfort features. This car won the Indian Car Of The Year Award (ICOTY) 2017.
