The Maruti Suzuki Tour S is based on the second generation Dzire, which offers the appeal of a full-size sedan but in a compact package. Just like other commercial cars from Maruti Suzuki’s stable, even the Tour S gets power steering and front power windows as creature comfort features. 3. Hyundai Xcent Prime / Hyundai Aura
The Hyundai Xcent Prime is based on the entry-level variant of the Xcent (compact sedan). Hyundai offers the Xcent Prime with a petrol + CNG and diesel powertrain options. With the variety of powertrain options to choose from, it helps cater to the needs of different fleet operators. Petrol and CNG version of the Xcent Prime is powered with a 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT unit that is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine generates 83 bhp of power and 114 Nm of twist and it offers an average of 16kmpl, whereas in CNG mode it produces 66 bhp of power and gives out an average of 25km per kg. The diesel model of the Xcent Prime is powered with a 1.2-litre U2 CRDi unit, which is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox and churns out 75 bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque. This diesel engine offers an average of 21kmpl. To keep the prices down, the Xcent Prime misses many creature comfort features but that is seen on the new model, which helps to compete efficiently with its rivals.

In the MPV commercial car segment, Maruti Suzuki offers the Tour M which is based on the Ertiga.
