Lamborghini showcases its most track focused convertible supercar the Huracán Performante Spyder at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Lamborghini is offering the Huracán Performante Spyder with a fabric foldable soft top. Thus providing an amazing experience to drive open top race car. This new model gets unique body kit with forged carbon fibre for the front wing, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. The removal of the soft tp gets two additional rear buttresses which are also somewhat similar to the one in the regular Spyer. The Soft top takes 17 seconds to fold up and it can be performed at a standstill or at speed of 50kmph.
Let's come to the main part, for what we have all been waiting for. Yes we are talking about the heart of this track focused supercar. Powering the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder is a 5.2- litre V10 naturally-aspirated mid engine. This mill produces 640 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a massive 600Nm of torque and all of this torque and power produced is sent to all the four wheels of the car.
The chassis setup for the Performante coupe and Spyder is the same. But due to the addition of the electro hydraulic mechanism for the roof, it adds up an extra 125kg further increasing the dry weight of the super car to 1,507kg.
The Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder boosts of stability control, dynamic steering and drive modes such as Strada, Sport and Corsa. These drive mode changes the aggressiveness of the supercar.
Speaking about number, the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder sprints from 0-100Kmph in 3.1 seconds and 0-200kmph in 9.3 seconds. This supercar can reach upto a top speed of the 325kmph which same as that of the coupe.
