The Kodiaq is the second SUV and the first 7-seater from the Skoda’s stable in India. This SUV from the Czech automakers will be positioned above the Skoda Superb in the company's model line up
The Skoda Kodiaq is based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform and following the same design platform are the new Skoda Octavia, VW Tiguan and Skoda Superb. We expect Skoda to offer this SUV with features like park assist, LED head lights with headlight washing function, auto dimming interior mirror, touchscreen infotainment powered with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, airbags, EBD and ABS.
Powering the Kodiaq will be 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine which produces 141 BHP of power and 340 Nm of torque. We are expecting a 7-speed DSG gearbox and 6-speed manual transmission for the entry level model. The same engine is available in Volkswagen Tiguan
