In recent times the Indian market has seen in a considerable demand in SUV’s. Gone are the days when the Indian consumers were only running behind small and fuel efficient cars. Nowadays people have changed their mind set and are also venturing out in different segments to own a powerful, much safer and spacious car. As the saying goes “hit the iron when it is hot”, many auto manufacturers have started concentrating more on the SUV segment and are either upgrading their current fleets or launching in new models in the India market.
One such manufacturer is Ford and it has been selling its Endeavour in the India for quite a long time. Just as we enter 2018 the American Auto manufacturer has updated Titanium variant of the Endeavour. It is the 2.2 litre model of the Titanium variant which is now gets an electronic panoramic sunroof. The new 2.2 litre Endeavour Titanium has been launched at Rs 29.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
So with the addition of this latest feature and the revised prices for the year 2018 there is an increase in Rs 56,000 as compared to the previous model. Before the launch of this model the panoramic sunroof was only offered in the 3.2 litre top spec Titanium variant.
Aesthetically there aren't many changes except for the additional panoramic sunroof to the 2.2litre Titanium trim of the Ford Endeavour . Mechanically this variant will be continued to be powered with the 2,198 cc, four-cylinder, diesel engine that churns out 160 horsepower and 385Nm of twist. This mill is coupled with a six speed automatic transmission which powers the rear wheels of the car.
