KIA teases images of its SP Concept will make debut at the 2018 Auto Expo
We have all been waiting for 2018 and its finally here. Well, for us automotive enthusiasts it's a very special year, as this year will commemorate the 14th Auto Expo in the nation. Auto manufacturers around the world and in the nation are also eager to showcase their future mobility, concept cars and upcoming cars to the masses of India through this event.
But just as we have heard that many manufacturers have backed, the much talked about car brand KIA will make its debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. Last year KIA opened its camp for dealerships and had also opened up its Indian website. India is also eager to receive the products from KIA.
Just as we are moving closer to the Auto Expo, KIA has teased us with the images of the SP Concept. This SUV concept is made for the Indian market and it will make its debut at the Auto Expo 2018.
Taking a close look at the teaser images, we get to know that, this SUV will be equipped with all-LED front headlights and all-LED tail lights, it also gets beefed up wheel arches, while the it also gets a sloping roofline which also has a contrast paint scheme. It's very difficult to comment anything now, but we are assuming that it might be powered with a new 1.5-litre, BS-VI-compliant diesel engine and the 1.6-litre petrol mill from its cousin the Hyundai Creta. These engines could be coupled with a six speed manual and automatic gearbox which is also present in the Hyundai Creta.
Along with the SP concept KIA will be showcasing 16 models which will include a range of electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, concept cars and the Stinger sports sedan.
