However, it’s only the VXI AMT variant that falls close to the Rs 5 lakh mark; all other variants are more expensive.

Despite the affordable price tag. Tata tiago doesn't come across as a cheap car. In Fact, the quality of materials used makes it feel more like a premium car. Its the only car that gives a diesel as fuel option with such an affordable price range. Starting at 4.21L, the three manual diesel versions come under 5 Lacs category.

The diesel version has 70PS diesel engine making it one of the most powerful cars In its class. It also gets electrically adjustable ORVMs. Despite all the features tata tiago does miss out on the factory fitted CNG KIT.

The interiors are simple and appealing in looks. The Eon is now available with a 800cc engine and 1.0-litre with a five-speed manual transmission.

The Eon returns an efficiency of 21.2km/l. There is even CNG variant that is available on the Hyundai Eon as well. The 1.0-litre ending competes with the Alto K10. The Hyundai Eon comes with a 800cc engine that produces about 55bhp of power and 74Nm of peak torque.

The second engine is a powerful one, producing about 68bhp and 95Nm torque. These come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The top speed of the 800cc Eon is 135km/hr.   1. Maruti Suzuki Swift ZDI + AMT

Maruti Suzuki Swift launched in august 2018. Swift is all-new and has been built ground up. But it does carry forward the design identity that has made the swift so popular. Starting at rs. 4.99l two of the variants are available in this budget. The manual hatchback petrol car this car will be offered with the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.3-litre diesel and possibly at least one version that will make use of the RS spec 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine.

The standard 1.2-litre unit is a four-cylinder engine producing 83/115Nm while the diesel (also a four-pot) produces 75bhp/190Nm. This is the forst time the Swift gets an automatic across the range for both the petrol and diesel powertrains – the same AMT setup as the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

  1. Datsun cross:

Estimated 4.5l-6.5l this new version is all set to launch on december 2018. this new update resembles an suv for the price of a hatchback. After the launch of the affordable Datsun Go, Redigo and the super compact MPV Go+, the Nissan sub-brand will get the Cross to India. The Cross was seen in India for the first time at the Auto Expo 2016.

Datsun has fitted this new car with projector headlamps and LED DRLs which will become standard headlights. One of the other elements on the car is the black roof tray with rails and also a small rear spoiler and fancy looking C-shaped tail lamps.

On the engine front, 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol will be standard. There is a high possibility that this may be the first model in the Datsun line-up to be offered with a diesel engine, which, in this case, will be the 1.5-litre dCi that powers a variety of Nissan and Renault models. A five-speed manual will be common across all variants.

The new ford figo facelift model is said to be launched on March 2019. this new update may come with a 3rd fuel option of CNG. The Ford Figo Facelift is expected to borrow Ford’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Freestyle that makes 96PS of maximum power and 120Nm of peak torque.

Ford will introduce a new 5-speed manual, same as the Ford Freestyle. whether the updated Ford Figo will get Ford’s new and powerful 1.5-litre 3-cylinder petrol 123PS/150Nm with 6-speed torque converter automatic in place of the current 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol 112PS/136Nm and 6-speed dual-clutch combo is still uncertain.

The Ford Figo Facelift is likely to feature a new 6.5-inch SYNC3 infotainment system with support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Figo 2018 is also expected to offer automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers as new add-ons. This version is more likely to resemble with the Mobilio facelift that never made it to the Indian market. The new version seems to have ditched the all-glass boot lid for a conventional rear boot and windshield.second-gen Honda Brio carries forward the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine as the first-gen model.

The 1.2-litre motor puts out 90PS and 110Nm and is coupled to a 5-speed manual or an optional CVT (added for the first time).
