All New Honda Jazz Hatchback revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show
Honda has finally pulled the covers off the next generation Jazz. This hatchback is also called as the Fit in some of the international markets.
The 2020 Honda Jazz was revealed at this year's Tokyo Motor Show. This will be the fourth generation of the Honda Jazz and once launched launched it will be offered with five trim levels and a new hybrid system.

According to Honda, the upcoming Jazz is being developed with the intention of becoming a globally accepted compact car for this new era. Well, the Indian market will surely get the new gen Honda Jazz but it will most probably be launched during the second half of 2020. Once launched Honda will introduce the 2020 Jazz in five different variants namely, Basic, Home, Ness, Crosstar, and Luxe.

Honda has offered the upcoming Jazz with a new face and it also features many heavy design updates as well. Upfront this hatchback gets sleek-looking grille with some chrome details all over it, this grille extends towards the headlamps which now get all LED treatment along with LED DRL's (Daytime Running Lights). Both the front and rear bumpers are redesigned and it now gets subtle lines, C-Shaped elements and a large airdam. On the other hand, the over all design from the side profile is very much similar to the second generation model itself. Quarter panels can be seen on both the front end and the back end, with the front end being the largest.

As we enter the car, we first get to see is the visibility. Here Honda has offered a new design front pillar which offers a wider and superior front visibility as compared to its predecessors. The dashboard gets some tweaks in terms of design, in addition to this it is being offered with a single tone all black theme. The whole interior on the other hand is being offered with a dual tone highlight (white/grey, black/tan, and grey/black with green highlights). These dual tone interior themes completely depend on the variants. The steering wheel gets a new two spoke setup giving it a sporty look and it also gets finish matching the dual tone scheme. In addition to this, Honda is also offering the New Jazz with new seats that gets a new generation body stabilizing feature and a new centre console.

Short-distance collision mitigation braking system
Honda is featuring a new wide view camera at the front end of the hatchback. With this, it will mark a new addition to the Honda SENSING advanced safety and driver assistive system. This new wide view front camera along with eight sonar sensors it has enhanced Honda's SENSING system and to add to it the New Jazz will also get short-distance collision mitigation braking system. As mentioned above, Honda is offering the New Jazz with a resigned A pillar, this is also to adhere to the new crash test norms. These safety features will be standard in all the models sold in the international market. But it's too soon to say if these features will also be seen in the Indian spec model as well.
What to expect?
As of now Honda hasn't revealed anything about the power train yet. But the Japanese car manufacturer has mentioned that they will feature new hybrid system for this hatchback. This will be Honda's new compact 2-motor hybrid system that features an electric motor for all situation in day to day driving. In addition to this, the hybrid system also ensures to provide excellent ride comfort and powerful acceleration as well.
