Citroen C5 Aircross Which Variant to Buy - Feel or Shine?

Citroen C5 Aircross Comfort Class SUV Features. Which Variant to Buy - Feel or Shine?
Citroen will be launching its debut product in India come March but all details are already known regarding this luxury SUV. Citroen is keeping it simple with only engine and gearbox being offered while there are two variant choices- Feel and Shine that would be available after launch. In this launch we will explain which variant is better.
Citroen C5 Aircross Feel Variant Features
Feel is the entry level variant in the C5 Aircross range and it comes with a lot of features. It comes standard with usual features like the 8inch touch screen, 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, rear ac vents, LED DRLs, 18-inch wheels, powered mirrors, electronic brake, 6 airbags.
While it also gets features like front and rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, puddle lamps, drive and traction modes, powered driver’s seat, ESP, traction control, hill-descent control, hill-start assist, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, hands-free parking and more.
Citroen C5 Aircross Shine Variant Features
Shine is the top-end variant and is positioned above the Feel variant. Thus over and above the features you get in the Feel trim, there is a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps and a hands free tailgate opening.
Which Citroen C5 Variant is better to Buy?
As you can see both the Citroen variants are very well loaded so there is not so much of a difference between the variants however we will say the flagship trim is the better buy. The Shine trim gets you a sunroof and that adds to the luxury feel along with LED headlamps. It makes sense to stretch out and get the Shine variant while for those, a sunroof is not needed the Feel variant makes sense.
When is Citroen C5 launching in India ?
Citroen will launch the C5 by the middle of March and as said before the SUV would be taking the CKD route but we expect the Feel variant to start from Rs 29.9 lakh while the Shine would be around Rs 50,000 more. The C5 would be sold via the special dealership concept used by Citroen in India for only 10 cities while it plans to take a mobile showroom on wheels concept to cities where there is no Citroen dealership. The C5 Aircross would compete with the new Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace. Read here to see how this French SUV fares with its rivals in a pure specifications comparison.
