With the lockdown still in place and the pandemic spreading faster than ever, the financial sector all over the world have taken a huge hit. Creating massive job losses and decrease in the salaries, the after lockdown effects are expected to last for a few years. With restricted socialism, social distancing and working from homes, our lifestyle has changed drastically and with the virus being mutated further, it is expected to last longer. The concept of social gatherings has become a thing of the past and will also impact the public transport industry. As a result, people may prefer to travel by a private vehicle instead for the safety of their families. With this, the sales in the auto industry are expected to rise further post lockdown.
The recent trend of SUVs may soon end replacing them by hatchbacks at a lower price range. The post lockdown sales will include lower budget hatchbacks more due to decrease in budget and increased traffic.
