Mahindra Bolero Neo Launch Soon, More Expensive Than TUV300
Mahindra Bolero Neo Launch Soon, Expected to hit showroom in Sep 2021
Mahindra has started the promotions of its next product which is the 2021 Bolero Neo. This would be an addition to the current Bolero and it would not replace it. The Bolero is an icon of sorts and is a huge success. Mahindra thinks this new smaller Bolero Neo will appeal to buyers who want a more compact and rugged SUV. The Bolero Neo is basically a facelift of the TUV300.
However, compared to the current TUV300, the Neo will get a new look front-end with new headlamps, grille and bumper. It will also feature LED DRLs. To match the Bolero, the Bolero Neo will come with flared wheel-arches which are a bit square along with rugged styling elements. Else, the styling is expected to stay the same when compared to the current TUV.
The engine would be the same 1.5l diesel developing a power out of 75 PS @ 3600 rpm and maximum torque of 210 Nm@ 1600 - 2200 rpm. It will have a standard 5 speed manual gearbox only. Compared to the current TUV, the prices will rise with an estimated ex-showroom price of Rs 8.50 Lakh. But the Bolero nameplate and the tweaks will mean that it will appeal to those who want a small SUV which is usable plus spacious. Mahindra will also have a busy next year with many back to back launches. After the Neo, we will see the big launch of the XUV700 along with several other important new cars like the 5-door Thar and more.
