Tata Altroz Dark Edition First Review, Images - Price Rs 30,000 More Than Altroz XZ+
Tata Motors recently launched the dark editions of nearly all of its cars including the Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV and the Harrier of course. Do remember that the Harrier was the first dark edition model and since then it has been quite a success and it was right for Tata to introduce this in its other cars. We had a first look and let us start with the Altroz Black edition.
Tata Altroz Dark Edition Exterior Design
The Altroz has always been a good looking car but being painted in black has only increased that. The black effect suits the Altroz a lot and increases its presence. New to the Altroz Dark is of course a new Cosmos Black colour. It is a very nice shade of black and makes the Altroz look very nice indeed. It is a darkish black and gets a lot of attention. With the Dark range, Tata Motors have not only added a new colour but also other changes. The alloys for example have a dark finish to it and while they are the same 16-inch in size, the dark alloys go well with the design. There are also #dark edition badges on the exterior.

The black treatment is also seen on the inside with some small but effective additions. There is a new Granite black interior theme with a metallic gloss black mini pad. Also you will see the leatherette upholstery with deep Blue Tri-arrow perforations and deco blue stitching. Buyers will also like the Dark embroidery on the front headrest.
Tata Altroz Dark Edition Variant and Pricing
The Altroz Dark is available in top variants only (XZ+) with the petrol version. That means you can get the Altroz Dark with the 1.2l petrol and the turbo petrol engined one. The feature list and the engines offered are also the same as the standard Altroz. For the dark edition, you will have to pay an extra of Rs 30,000 which is quite good value if you ask us. Prices for the Altroz dark edition Rs 8.7 lakh and go till Rs 9.3 lakh for the top-end XZ+ iTurbo.
