Upcoming 2021 MG Astor SUV to get Digital Dashboard Display
Upcoming Creta Rival 2021 MG Astor/ ZS Petrol SUV to get a Fully Digital Instrument Cluster
MG is readying its upcoming Astor SUV for India. This is the new ZS petrol that would get launched around the festive season this year that is if the Coronavirus pandemic does not delay the launch date. The ZS EV sold in India is the older version while the ZS in petrol guise that we will get would be the facelift version. This is also true for the UK market also. Hence the new ZS with a petrol engine would be the latest model with new features plus it will also have a much more modern interior when compared to the current ZS. In India the ZS petrol could be called as Astor. Recently the SUV was spied testing and it has been revealed that it would get a digital instrument cluster. The new instrument cluster is different from the ZS EV and uses a clean design for the digital display plus having a modern look. You have a fairly large display in the middle which shows the car and relevant info along with various options for display. On the side you also have the fuel reading and the speed plus rpm. The dials look futuristic and would be customizable. The ZS or Astor SUV might be launched with 1.0 and 1.5l turbo petrol engine with no diesel on offer. It would be feature packed and would be priced lower than the Hector with prices starting at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), being a smaller SUV. It would be a 5-seater aimed at the likes of the Volkswagen Taigun plus the Skoda Kushaq along with the established Korean duo of Kia Seltos and the Hyundai Creta.
The war is on and the compact SUV space is getting increasingly crowded with capable competition also.
