Dimensions and Design
The upcoming Hyundai i20 will be a sub 4m premium hatchback. It will be offered with a longer wheelbase as compared to the ongoing model. This will indeed provide the upcoming i20 with a spacious cabin than before. On the other hand, as the New Hyundai Verna is a C-segment sedan it is longer than the upcoming premium hatchback. The 2020 Verna also could be shorter in height and have a low ground clearance as well which can be confirmed once further details on the upcoming i20 are revealed.
When it comes to the design aspect, Hyundai is developing the upcoming i20 on the global spec model. From the latest spy images, we get to know that this premium hatchback will be offered with a wrap-around LED tail lamps with Z shaped design elements, sporty design language and an aggressive front end with a sleek headlamp setup. As compared to the previous model, the whole design language will be revamped offering a much more sporty feel.
Coming to the all-new Verna which was launched some months back looks very sporty and premium as compared to its predecessor. It now offers a completely revamped design language. It gets a newly designed front bumper, new LED headlamp unit and a larger cascading front grille giving the elegant feeling. On the other hand, this C-Segment now runs on a 16-inch dual-tone diamond cut alloy wheel and it gets the LED taillamps unit inspired from the Elantra hence offering a sporty feel. Overall, the upcoming i20 will be developed keeping in mind a youth experience, whereas the Verna feels premium and offers a balance of sportiness and elegance.
