Upcoming Renault Kiger SUV vs Triber MUV Comparison - Design, Interior, Engine, and Price Updates
Renault bounced back with success with its Triber as it has been a crucial success with its low-cost pricing and good space. The value for money and the high localization level of the Triber has given Renault a hit and now it plans to launch its new compact SUV based on the Triber platform called as the Kiger. So there is a lot common between the two and we are here to clear the confusion.
Renault Kiger vs Triber Design
Let us first talk about what each car is. The Triber is a compact MPV and the Kiger is a compact SUV. Both are under 4m but appeal to different sets of customers. The Triber is a pleasant looking car and has the new design language of Renault with a nice profile and the big Renault logo with the nicely done grille. The Kiger though is much more aggressive but it does have the same grille like the Triber but the styling is different from there. The headlamps are below while the DRLs are above matched with the grille. You have skid plate and cladding too. There is a big difference in the way the Kiger looks from the side as the sloping roof-line is more like a coupe. Thus the Kiger seems much more aggressive.
Renault Kiger vs Triber Interiors and Features
The Triber wins here with more space if practicality being what you want. The seating has three rows and it has good legroom/headroom with the Kiger having only two rows and having less headroom. The design would be same in some aspects being based on the same platform but the Kiger has the sportier interior. It has a more sophisticated digital display while the touch-screen is bigger and above the air vents. The design is much sporty over the plain-looking Triber. We also the Kiger to be much better equipped with a lot of features. The Triber has less features and the Kiger will have more with steering controls etc.
Renault Kiger vs Triber Engine
The Triber only has a 1.0 naturally aspirated petrol with manual and automatic AMTs. The Kiger will also have the same engine and gearbox option but what will set it apart would be the 1.0 turbocharged petrol which will have manual and CVT options- none of which the Triber has.
Renault Kiger vs Triber Price
The Triber is priced between Rs 5.12 lakh to Rs 7.3 lakh. The Kiger would be more expensive as it will come between Rs 5.5 lakh to 9 lakh, much like the Nissan Magnite. Thus it is clear that the Triber is for those who want a practical and spacious compact MPV. If you travel with your family or need rear-seat space then the Triber it is. The Kiger is a more stylish option and for those who want more fun to drive option with the turbo petrol and CVT.
