The new Aura will be BS6 compliant.
The car will be available with three engine options.
The car will have similar interior of Hyundai i10 Nios.

The new sub 4m sedan by Hyundai will be launched on 21st January,2020. The Aura will be largely similar to Hyundai I10 Nios in terms of designing and interior with the Xcent hood. Since the Aura is highly based on Nios, it will also have the similar black trapezoidal grille with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, projector fog and headlamps and air dams with similar roofline alone with glossy black window lines. The rear of the car will be completely revised and will get a new look entirely. The rear will offer C-shaped tail lamps with LEDs, a shark fin antenna and the number plate holder located in the bumper which is highly inspired by Hyundai Elantra and will also be shown in the upcoming Verna. The car will be offered in 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The car may be available in dual tones as a color option. The car has the length of 3995mm, width of 1680mm with the height of 1520mm. the car has 2450mm wheelbase with 402 liters of boot space. The car will also show similarity to Nios when it comes to its interiors.
The car will have similar features that of Nios which consists of, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5.3-inch digital speedometer and MID, wireless charging, Arkamys sound system, rear AC vents, rear centre armrest and a driver rear view monitor. The Aura gets iBlue Audio remote smart phone application but will not get BlueLink connectivity suite.
The car will be offered in 2 petrol engines and 1 diesel which will be available in BS6 compliance. The car will be offered in 1.2-litre petrol (83PS/114Nm) engine that is present in Nios, 1.0-litre turbo petrol (100PS/172Nm) engine from venue and diesel (75PS/190Nm). The 1.2 liter petrol and diesel will be available in 5-speed MT/AMT. The 1.0 liter petrol will be available in 5-speed manual.
The car will be priced between rs. 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh. The warranty packages include choices of 3-year/1 lakh km, 4-year/50,000km or 5-year/40,000km.
The Aura will rival against Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, Ford Aspire, and the Volkswagen Ameo.
The Aura will be a sedan version of the recently launched Hyundai i10 Nios. Hyundai will also continue Xcent alongside the Aura.
